OUR STORY
Sanford Porchfest is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that unifies its community through music with the mission of enhancing access to and promoting the arts through educational scholarships. Built entirely on goodwill; from the organizers, artists and homeowners - all of the proceeds from the festival (collected through donations, sponsorships, and merchandise sales) are returned to the community by funding performing art youth programming and fine art college scholarships.
The vision of Sanford Porchfest is to be an authentic and altruistic organization that helps unify the Sanford community through access to music, access to arts education and access to each other. Sanford Porchfest seeks to create opportunities for families, friends and neighbors to unite over a common thread - music.

What does the ticket price include?
The purchase of a GA ticket includes entry, open bar all evening, live entertainment, a catered meal, photograph taken by a professional photographer upon arrival, a night of dancing and a lot of fun. VIP tickets also receive reserved seating and a special gift from SPF.

What does the cost of a ticket go to?
A small portion of the tickets go to Sanford Porchfest Corporation to support their annual operational costs. By hosting this event, SPF Corp. can truly donate 100% of the funds raised from the annual festival back to the community without using any of it to support the corporate side of things. Plus, we get to have a killer party doing so!

What makes the ticket price worth it?
Let’s be real. We all drop way more on a typical night out on just warm-up drinks. We’re offering four hours of open bar with some of the best drinks this side of the Monroe, not one but TWO live bands, a belly full of Cuban-inspired food, a chance to show off your best dance moves and show this town how to spice things up.
What’s the difference between the GA and VIP tickets?
VIP tickets donate a little bit more to Sanford Porchfest’s mission. In return, you’ll receive reserved seating at the best table in the house and a special gift from SPF. General Admission tickets do not guarantee seating but offer landing space at one of the various standing cocktail tables.
What is the attire / dress code requirements?
That is the beauty of the SPF Gala – you can wear whatever you want! Some come dressed according to the year’s theme and some throw on whatever is in their closet; however, it is a great chance to get glam up and go all out! The opportunities are endless.
What is the theme?
Sanford Nights is our local spin on Havana flair! When the sun sets, the heat will rise as we turn Venue 1902 into the hottest tropical destination that Sanford has ever seen.
Can my child(ren) join?
Unfortunately, this event is 21 and up only. Think of this as the ultimate night out and call in a babysitter. You won’t regret it! Well, possibly in the morning.
Where do I park / how do I get there?
We really want everyone to enjoy themselves, safely. We highly recommend taking an Uber to/from the event – even if you live in town. With an open bar, good times can sneak up on you. If you must drive, there’s self-parking located behind Venue 1902 or complimentary valet out front. Signs will direct you.
Do I need to bring anything else?
We recommend bringing some cash to tip the entertainers which include the valet, cocktail hour musician, band, bartenders and wait staff. Other than that, just bring your party pants.

After careful deliberation and consulting with various community leaders, we have decided to continue with the annual gala. Our community’s safety is our number one concern. We will continue to monitor the situation and adhere to any restrictions that may be in place. We have met with the venue and have a plan to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort.
Due to the cost of putting on such a large event, tickets are non-refundable (but transferable) for any circumstances outside of Florida’s response to COVID-19.
We are moving forward with positivity that we will all be able to come together safely and celebrate each other, our health, our town and our collaborative strength. We look forward to seeing all our neighbors again!
